About Stormie
Stormie is looking for his person!
Born in September 2024, this handsome young Collie is just shy of 2 years old. Okay, we’re just going to say it: Stormie is a bit of a wild child. But he is also one of the sweetest, funniest, most affectionate dogs you could meet.
Stormie is young, energetic, incredibly food motivated, loves going for car rides, and has never met a stranger. He thinks everyone deserves a kiss on the cheek and is more than happy to snuggle up with his favorite people.
Now for the Stormie fine print…
This boy needs some structure and continued training. He pulls on leash, jumps up, counter surfs, and has A LOT to say when he sees something interesting outside—especially another dog. He is reactive to other dogs and can become overstimulated quickly, so Stormie needs to be the only dog in his new home.
He’s also quite the athlete. Stormie has demonstrated that a four-foot fence is merely a suggestion, so a secure six-foot fence is required. His new family will need to be diligent about supervising him and keeping this clever boy safely contained.
Stormie is potty trained, was an absolute gentleman for grooming and veterinary care, and takes daily anxiety medication to help manage his reactivity. We are looking for an active, experienced home with no children under 10, where Stormie can get the exercise, training, consistency, and attention he needs.
Stormie isn’t going to be the right dog for every home—and that’s okay. We’re looking for the home that’s right for him. Because underneath all that Stormie energy is an incredibly loving, silly, snuggly Collie who really just wants someone to call his own.
