Marlo is a sweet, goofy boy with a larger-than-life personality and an endless supply of love to give. He thrives on attention, adores his toys, and is always ready for a game with anyone willing to join in—including the cats! If there’s a toy, a Kong, or an enrichment puzzle involved, Marlo is all in.

This handsome guy is crate trained, house trained, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys spending time with his people. He’s been reported to do well with children and is happiest when he’s part of the action. Marlo is also known for his silly habit of squeezing himself under furniture and cots, flattening himself out as much as possible in search of the perfect hiding spot.

Marlo would do best in a home with **female dogs only**.

Potential adopters should know that Marlo is a bit of a “bull in a china shop.” He doesn’t always realize his own size, may help himself to anything left on the counter, and approaches life with enthusiasm rather than grace. Fortunately, his charming personality more than makes up for his occasional mischief.

Marlo also has a few strong opinions. He absolutely despises being groomed and requires medication for grooming appointments, as he becomes extremely stressed and may scream, thrash, or attempt to bite. He is equally unimpressed by bad weather. Rain and snow are beneath him, and he will delay going outside for as long as possible when the forecast isn’t to his liking.
