About Barbie & Ken

Barbie and Ken are a beautiful bonded pair of siblings looking for their forever home together. Before we rescued them, they shared a single crate on a porch and had limited access to shade, food, and water. We’re so proud of how much they’ve flourished under the care of their devoted foster mom!

Since arriving in their foster home, Barbie and Ken have been enthusiastically chowing down on nutritious meals and steadily putting on some much-needed weight. They’re at healthy weights now but have large enough frames that they can each stand to gain about another 10 lbs.

Barbie and Ken are incredibly friendly, and if you’re not giving them enough attention, they’ll be sure to let you know by sticking their snoots right into your lap! They get along very well with other dogs and really enjoy zoomie nights and playing with their foster siblings. Barbie and Ken also adore children and get incredibly excited when their foster mom’s grandkids come to visit!

Both siblings are still working on getting comfortable with adventuring outside their foster home and backyard, and leash training is in progress. Their perfect forever family will have a fenced-in backyard and the patience to keep working with them in these areas.
